Senior Activities:
Progressive Euchre is held most every Friday from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. All ages welcome!

Preschool Age Activities:
During the school year, the recreation center offers Dance / Exercise Clases for pre-school and kindergarteners. This program is offered on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m - 11:30 a.m. starting November 5th, 2008 through April 29th 2009. Fee is $2.00 per class.

Summer Activities:
The Johnstown Recreation Center offers open recreation every Monday - Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Parks & Recreation

The Village of Johnstown offers many recreational programs throughout the year. Most programs are held at the Recreation Center, 185 West Maple Street.Unless noted, all programs are free of charge to the families of Johnstown residents or those who are employed within the Village boundaries. A small charge may be assessed to others. For more information on the fees or programs, call Director Jean Moyer at 967-3313, or choose a quick link below to download forms, applications and more.

ACTIVITY FEES: $35.00 per family for all activities for in town residents and $45.00 per family for out of town residents. Individual activity fees are $2.00 per lesson per child for in town residents or $3.00 per lesson per child for out of town residents.

WHEN: Mondays: June 15th, 22nd, 29th, and July 6th from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Continued classes will be determined by the turn-out.

COST: $10.00 per class, per child

$2.00 per class or you can pay the summer activity family fee of $35.00 for in town residents or $45.00 for out of town residents.

CORN HOLE GAME!!!!

The Recreation center is offering The Corn Hole game. We have purchased two sets of the game to be used in the old horseshoe pit area. However, due to increased vandalism around the Recreation Center, we decided not to place the Corn Hole games outside...if you would like to play during business hours, please see Jean Moyer to sign out the game for use on the premisis.
